Carmel Owls gets its first press coverage

The Carmel Pine Cone featured Carmel Owls on its front page (click to read the article if you're on mobile) today.
The news article has brought in a dozen requests already to Adopt an Owl Platform from residents all over Monterey Peninsula.
Hopefully we can find some suitable tall trees with appropriately paved areas adjacent to them to tow into place our heavy cherry picker. Let's not forget the absence of power lines too.
And of course, we'll need to fundraise $2,000 to pay for the next batch of owl platforms to be built and to rent the cherry picker.
