One question on everyone’s mind
Can great Big Horned Owls eat small ponies? Actually, no.
While nesting Great Horned Owl parents with hungry fledglings can devour up to seven rodents a night, they weigh only about three pounds as adults and swallow their prey whole. Small ponies are simply too big a mouthful.
Rest assured, Mary from Carmel Valley. Your pony is safe.
