The Express Owl Platform Service offers a flexible option for homeowners who want a professionally crafted platform now, and whose tree locations cannot be accessed by Carmel Owls’ cherry picker team.
With this service, Carmel Owls designs and builds each platform, then partners with a homeowner-selected local installer to complete the installation.
Custom Design & Build: Carmel Owls volunteers will inspect the property, identify suitable trees, and craft a nesting platform designed for a Great Horned Owl.
Third-Party Installation Coordination: Homeowners work with a licensed local tree service for installation while Carmel Owls provides on-site support, specialized hardware, and a leveling template to ensure a flat, secure mount.
Support for Carmel Owls Volunteer Program: The Express Service includes a fee of $1,340 (installer cost separate), beginning with a non-refundable donation to support Carmel Owls’ ongoing efforts to promote toxin-free, ecological rodent management.
